Land Iguanas
South Plaza Island, the Galapagos, Ecuador
South Plaza Island displays a pair of land iguanas.
They come in a wide variety of different colors.
Since the iguanas also ignored people, I worked on
getting the best possible closeup of this yellow one.
Here is a face you don't see every day.  Scales can be
attractive.  The Galapagos also has a marine iguana

that is the world's only sea-going lizard.  It appears in
my video, but never posed for a decent photo.
The Galapagos land iguana is quite a small lizard,
but very cooperative when it comes to photography.
