The sea lion pups on Rabida Island were amazingly cute.
The pups were clearly helpless, but I
never saw any potential predators.

Francisco Bay Area. We have a pier taken over by

Nesting pelicans were also residing on Rabida Island.
This awkward looking baby pelican gave no hint
of the graceful creature it will become.
