Scenic Glacier Vistas
The beauty of Antarctica is everywhere.  Here are four
glacier pictures that I took from the ship.  Glaciers can be
gigantic in size, covering an entire mountain.  The face of a
glacier is where it meets the water.  Pieces of a glacier fall
off the face, into the sea, becoming icebergs.
This mountain towers above the glacier at its base.
At closer range, this reflection helps create a black
and white wonderland image.
This glacier, with its reflection, seems to have entirely
covered the mountain that serves as host.
