Bunratty is a restored 15th Century castle that puts on shows
for tourists. There is also an 18th Century folk park.
Preceding the Medieval Banquet, this harpist
played. The harp is an important Irish symbol,
always present on Guinness beers and signs.
I found the Medieval Banquet show in 2013 to have
greatly improved since my 1997 visit to Bunratty Castle.
Highlights are in the new video. In my opinion it helps to
sing some of the best known Irish songs, even if they don't
fit with medieval costumes.
