Cardiff Castle - Wales
Wales was once independent, but came under English
control during the middle ages. Cardiff is its capital
and the Welsh language survives.
Cardiff Castle, although on an ancient fortified site,
was built in a 19th century Victorian Disneyland style,
especially the interior.
I felt this decoration best represented the fantasy
aspects of Cardiff Castle's interior design.
On the Cardiff Castle grounds, this small fortification
looked like an authentic survivor from Norman times.
