Budapest is Hungary's capital city. As the sun briefly
emerges on a foggy day, you are looking across the
Danube River to Budapest's signature building, the
1904 neo-Gothic Parliament.

Even without the sun, it's clear this is highly
outdated architecture for 1904. Incomparable.

Another Budapest landmark is the 1849 Chain Bridge,
Hungary's first span across the Danube. It remains in
full use, carrying automobiles that could not have
been imagined when the Chain Bridge was built.

The heavy fog cost me pictures of and from Budapest's
