Chateau de la Fleunie (Chateau Hotel)
Located in the Dordogne Valley, this structure from the 12th
and 15th centuries cannot be considered a normal hotel.  It
was fun to spend a night there, a taste of travel back in time.
Nothing like a standard room here.  Conversion to a hotel left
rooms varying greatly in size and configuration.  Rooms in
the turret on the left were the strangest.  This picture also
shows the terrace, where of course they served red wine.
France is full of chateaus from the middle ages that live on as
tourist hotels.

From every angle this never looked like an ordinary hotel.
