Paris At Night
The City of Lights Lives Up to its Name
The Moulin Rouge continues to present its extravagant stage
show, after more than a century. It's in the red light district
of Pigalle, just below Montmartre.
Nearly every Paris monument is lit at night, including the
Arc de Triomphe.
The Eiffel Tower sparkles with a light show at
the top of each evening hour. This is the best
a still camera can do to capture it. The tower
remains lit after the lights stop dancing.
The front of Notre Dame is lit at night, displaying
its towers, but otherwise the cathedral is dark.
The Sacre-Coeur Basilica is hard to miss, day or night.
