Zion National Park
Utah, USA
Starting with its name, Zion National Park must have struck
early Utah explorers as the work of God.  Biblical references
abound in Zion, where visitors enter a valley gazing up at
giant peaks.  Above is the Court of the Patriarchs.
Among the patriarchs, this mountain is Abraham.  I was
to gain great admiration for the beauty of Utah rock.
Staying with the Old Testament in Zion, right
next to Abraham is his son Isaac.
Zion National Park includes mountain
shapes and colors I had never seen before.
More red Utah rock in Zion National Park,
which is relatively close to both Bryce
Canyon and Grand Canyon National Parks.
