Yellowstone's Waterfalls     
  
and the Grand Canyon
     of the Yellowstone

Yellowstone Lake flows into a pair of spectacular waterfalls,
after which Yellowstone River has carved its own grand
canyon.  Nothing here is thermal, but you should allow
enough time in Yellowstone to avoid being rushed.  The
picture above is Upper Yellowstone Falls.  Access is best at
the waterfall's top.
This is Lower Yellowstone Falls, best photographed from
below.  The film includes my first efforts to videotape a
rainbow, which waterfalls tend to produce.   
I followed Yellowstone River's flow and this Grand
Canyon of the Yellowstone landscape appeared.  
There were still other surprises the national park
had in store for me.
